Do I have to set up my modem before I register online?

No. If you have not yet made an online connection to Intuit or set up your modem, Quicken attempts to set up your modem automatically before it dials Intuit to send your registration information.

If you are able to complete online software registration, your modem was set up correctly and you don't need to change any of your modem settings.
