How do I use the 'Alerts' feature in Quicken 98?

Quicken 6 includes a feature to warn you when your bank account is close to the overdraft limit. Quicken 98 has extended this feature to allow you to add limits to other aspects of your data file.

• To access the alerts feature, click on features from the toolbar at the top of the screen.
  
• Then click on reminders from the drop down list.
  
• Select alerts from the sub menu.

As well as bank account warnings, in Quicken 98 you put savings limits into categories i.e. if you only want to spend 10 pounds on DIY per week, then this alerts feature can help you plan.
