How to install Quicken 98 without installing IE4.

To install quicken 98 without installing Internet Explorer version 4, you will need to deselect it during the installation process.

1. Start the install process when prompted by the Autoplay box.
2. Click the "YES" button to agree to the License agreement.
3. You will now have a screen that will ask you whether you want to go for the "Express" setup, or the "Custom" setup. Choose "Custom" by left-clicking on it once. Then choose "Next".
4. You will now have a list of what programs will be installed by Quicken 98. To stop IE4 from being installed, left-click on the tick box beside the name IE4.
5. You should now see that the tick has disappeared from inside the box.
6. Continue to go through the installation by left clicking on the "NEXT" button.

When the installation has finished you should find that Quicken 98, (the parts you wanted), are installed fine. IE4 should not be on the system.
