Session error 2030: Unknown error.

How do I resolve the error "Session error 2030: unknown error" when attempting to go online in Quicken?

There are a number of system issues that may prompt this error. Follow this workaround to connect for online services:

  1. Point to Internet Connection on Quicken's Online menu, and choose Setup. This opens the Internet Connection Setup window.
  2. In the first Internet Connection Setup window, choose 'I have an existing dial-up Internet connection setup', and click Next.
  3. When prompted to select a dial-up connection, choose Other, and then complete the rest of the Internet Connection Setup in Quicken.
  4. Minimize or close Quicken.
  5. Connect to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) directly.
  6. Open Quicken, and you will now be able to access online features.
