Problems downloading after changing to a dialup connection.

After changing my Internet Connection setup to dialup connection from direct (Local Area Network) connection, why can't I download data?

The most likely cause is the installation of a beta version of Internet Explorer 4.0 (IE4). There are two solutions:

Install and use the final release of IE4. This can be downloaded from the Microsoft WebSite.
Although installing the final release of IE4 is the recommended solution, another solution is to reinstall Dialup Networking from yourWindows 95 install disks.
