How do I resolve the following message, which appears when attempting to install Quicken from a CD?

To resolve this issue:

Moisten a section of a clean, soft rag with plain water, and then use the moistened section to gently wipe the installation CD from the center to the edges. Do not use a circular motion.

In the same manner, thoroughly dry the CD with the rag, and then try installing again.

If the message persists, insert the installation CD from a different program into the CD-ROM drive.

If the message appears again, the CD-ROM drive may need to be cleaned. Contact a qualified computer technician for assistance.

If the message does not appear and the installation appears to proceed normally, exit the installation and then follow the directions to install Quicken in safe mode.
